Valerie and John’s wedding day love story at Peter Allen House in Dauphin, Pa. began with a vision of summer romance laden with daffodil yellow and natural white flowers. The fun-loving couple’s initial wedding day inspiration words were: romantic, vintage, and fun. Vintage and romance played perfect partners in Weddings by JDK‘s floral design. Lush tablescapes mixed with varieties of yellow garden roses, Queen Anne’s lace, ranunculus, and hydrangea flowed throughout the evening from guests’ entrance on the patio to the last dance in the celebration tent. The bridal party sat at handmade farm tables-provided by Maggpie Vintage Rentals-decked out with a variety of flourish bottles, mason jars, glass hobnail jars and assorted mercury and milk glass votives. A mix of candles and fresh blooms filled the assorted 38 containers. Guest seating followed the same color and floral story presented on tables adorned in specialty white lace eyelet overlays.
Lastly, the fun factor was no problem with the bursting energy of our staff and exuberant guests. Despite a sudden lucky summer rain shower, Valerie and John’s celebration continued with an electrifying dance-off on the patio. Valerie’s natural hand tied bouquet was the epitome of vintage romance using white peonies, yellow garden roses, white ranunculus, and other seasonal summer flowers.
We love the couple’s creative vintage window escort card table design! A suspended wooden ladder brought an innovative twist to the overall design.
Gorgeous handcrafted wooden farm tables by Maggpie Vintage Rentals set the scene for the bridal party’s dinner enjoyment.
