This year we are ringing in Independence Day with a natural rustic flair! The team at The JDK Group hosted an intimate and impromptu 4th of July barbecue to celebrate the home of the brave. Complete with a natural antler table runner, farm table, patriotic printables, and pops of fresh flowers.
But the best part of this set-up is that you can do it too! See how we break down our red, white, and blue spirit in the following Anatomy of an All-American BBQ. Be sure to check out our patriotic “pin”spiration on Pinterest for more Fourth of July style.

Farm tables add the perfect rustic charm to accent the Americana spirit. You can rent handcrafted farm tables from vintage rental companies such as Barnes Handcrafted Farmhouse Tables, or substitute a farm table with a custom pallet table. Just place a wooden pallet on top of an existing table or create one yourself! The simplistic wood pallet offers a more casual and woodsy vibe. Check out our “Let Freedom Ring” board on Pinterest to find a link to create your own pallet table.
These fun and easy-to-create details will spark your table setting!
We used antlers for our table runner, but larger pieces of driftwood or Manzanita branches can work as a substitute. Add your pops of red, white, and blue into the table runner with single stems of roses in white vases and free blue patriotic printables. Get free Fourth of July printables here to accent the natural atmosphere of the woods and antlers.
If you have access to wheat grass, create a simple arrangement by using rustic aluminum containers and patriotic printable picks. Just adhere the printables to miniature wooden dowel rods and decorate your vibrant arrangement!
